Abacus Comics

As you’ve probably heard by now, mid-level comic publisher Alias Enterprises has moved exclusively into the Christian market.

Alias executive director Mike S. Miller has moved his secular projects (and several other titles from Alias) to a new company: Abacus Comics. Abacus will be the new home for such titles as Ant, The Imaginaries, Lullaby, Kord and Harley, Sixgun Samurai and Soulless. The new company’s site went live last night.

I’m pretty sure “ANT” is still with Image.

That’s what I thought, but Ant is up on the new Abacus site, so I didn’t know if Abacus would be acting as the studio and Image as the publisher on some of the books. Weren’t Imaginaries and Lullaby originally put out through Image?

I don’t know about Imaginaries or Lullaby. I don’t see Ant on the Abacus website though. Ant does well for Image, and I can’t imagine Abacus has a better deal for creators.

Y’know…you’re right. Any was on their title list when they first when live, but is there no longer. I agree that I can’t imagine Abacus having a better deal than Image.
