The War in Heaven is reflected in the faces of humanity.  Destiny and hope lay fallow as a universal struggle for command of the higher planes of existence rages unfettered by the will of man.  Angels have turned against mankind, harvesting souls to strengthen their power, upending the eternal balance and placing all creation at risk of obliteration.  Will those that have been banished from Heaven’s army awaken to their true nature in time to stem the rising tide of destruction or shall the forces of flame and shadow unseam the universe and bring about the end of enlightenment?

ASCEND: SPECIAL EDITION is a new 200-page hardback edition that features seventy additional pages, remastered artwork and a completely reimagined tale that takes the reader futher into a post-apocalyptic Heaven that is consumed by the Purgatory Wars.

Writer/Creator Keith Arem and Post-Production Artist Kristian Hedman will be signing copies of the new volume and screening advance previews of ASCEND: DIVINATION, the digital web series based on the hit book.

Super*MARKET was a blast on Saturday, and we saved a couple of our very favorite items to have in the store for anyone who missed the event. Some of the coolest are these individually silk-scr eened calendars. They’re just stunning!

Kazu Kibuishi’s new all-ages graphic novel, Amulet is here at Meltdown! The release date isn’t technically until January, but we’ve already nabbed plenty of this gorgeous hardcover. If you’re still looking for a gift for that 11-year-old on your list, this is it. Or that 32-year-old.  Or that 20-year-old.  Or that 57-year-old.
