Well, I’ll tell you. Meltdown’s Free Comic Book Day Party Event Sale Spectacular, that’s what!

This Saturday is Free Comic Book Day and we’ll have free comics from all your favorite publishers. But get here early (we open at 11), because it’s a first-come-first-served and while-supplies-last event.

And that’s just the beginning. We’re also having a MASSIVE back issue sale (ALL unmarked back issues ONLY 50 CENTS) and a 25% OFF action figure sale ALL DAY!

But wait! There’s more!

We’ll have free mini-comics offered by local creators who’ll be here to sign their work, and from 2-6 in the afternoon we’ll have a whole slew of manga creators from Tokyopop here signing. Come meet the imaginations behind such books as Grand Theft Galaxy, I Luv Halloween, MBQ, Rhysmyth, Shutterbox, Undertow and ZAPT!

Then from 6-8 we’ll be having a Tokyopop Tsunami after party in the Melt Gallery featuring karaoke, fresh art and fresh food from the grill. And of course, as always, the Meltdown doors will be open until 10pm.

Think you can handle all that? To be honest, I have my doubts. But this Saturday, May 5th is your chance to come prove me wrong. Be there or be square (And miss out on all sorts of coolness)!
