Educate Yourself

For those of you in the LA area, comics professional Nunzio De Filippis will be teaching a UCLA extension course titled Writing for Sequential Art: Comics, Manga and Graphic Novels. Nunzio is both a good guy and a good writer who has worked in many different formats.

Sign up for this course if you can, and be sure to check out my Making Good interview with Nunzio and his writing partner/wife Christina Weir for further practical insight into the process of writing comics.

The End of an Era?

Could it be that the Meltdown Mel Hollywood Retrospective has come to and end?

I hope not, but I myself have run out of known appearances. Rumor has it the Sprouse Twins wore the Meltdown athletic shirt to a premiere, but I haven’t been able to find any pictures…

The fate of the retrospective is now in your hands, dear readers. Find some Mel sightings and let me know about them!

Does this look like the cast for the perfect oddball reality show or what?
