Hey everyone! Meltdown is launching a two-part contest starting right this very minute. Here’s how it works: For part one, we want you to draw a three-panel comic starring our own beloved Mel. Be sure to include some word balloons, but leave ‘em blank. The winning wordless comic will then be the template for the second part of the contest… That’s when all you writers get to submit the words to fill in those balloons.
Each of the two winners, our artist and our writer, will receive a surprise prize valued at $100!
All those blank three-panel comics about Mel must be received by August 10. Send your submissions to staff@meltcomics.com.
So even if you’re not a pro, if you’re eight years old, if you’re a secret sticky-note doodler, if you are a pro, we want to see it all! Get drawing!
