Bone Comic Book Movie

Image File Not FoundBone, the Eisner award winning comic book by Jeff Smith has been acquired by Warner Bros. to be made into a movie. It hasn’t been decided yet whether Bone will be an animated feature, live action, or combination of both. Warner Bros. has stated that the decision will be made following meetings with different filmmakers.

Who Watches?

Well look who it is...

Some images of the Watchmen costumes are out. I’m liking the Comedian’s look, especially. Some people have complained about the rubberyness of the suits, but I think it might be kind of brilliant. Look closely at Ozymandias… Yes, those are nipples. And after “Batman and Robin,” no one in Hollywood is going to put nipples on a suit, unless it’s a very deliberate choice. That, along with the rest of the outfits, gives the impression that this isn’t going to exactly be the Watchmen we knew. Because that, of course, was a commentary on comic book superheroes. But THIS is not a comic book. So maybe the commentary has shifted? I’m interested to see if that’s the case, and how well it’s handled. If I’m wrong, and the nipples are just nipples…
Well. God help us all.

Incredible Hulk trailer

The trailer for the Incredible Hulk is now up… I’m not sure I’m convinced, but I will say that the Abomination looks pretty cool.
