Gag Me With A Toon opening this Saturday (4.5) @ Meltdown celebrates the wonderfully mesmerizing phenomenon of ’80′s era cartoons.  From little blue creatures in mushrooms to real american heroes and transforming bots, this show curated by Steven Daily promises a wild look back at the hand-drawn treasures that fueled a generation’s childhood imagination.   In case you’re not hooked already… here’s just a little taste of what awaits…

    links from Technoratiactually (ahem) going out to see bands again, perhaps I’ll consider it.  Like it really matters.  Because let’s face it…it doesn’t. Welp, a fun-filled child weekend.  Gymnastics, Costco (ugh), Wee Soles for a new pair of shoes.  Grocery store, “Horton,” and then the”Gag Me With a Toon”opening at Meltdown.  I told Steven and Tomi I’d bring Boo  (and they promised a minimum of inappropriate artwork).  Miss Thing is looking forward to going to an art opening…she’s quite insistent on wearing a black dress and as a matter of fact, has been talking about this
