J.M. Dematteis, writer of such classics as Brooklyn Dreams, Moonshadow, Blood: A Tale, Justice League International (The Detroit Years), and Spider-Man: Kraven’s Last Hunt (One of the best Spidey stories ever, imo) will be at Meltdown Saturday, May 3rd–Free Comic Book Day–to sign copies of his new all-ages Graphic Novel, “The Stardust Kid”, illustrated by Mike Ploog.  Stop on by and meet one of comics’ most acclaimed writers!

    links from Technoratiand events. The most interesting is at Atomic Comics in Mesa, Ariz., where all seven Image Comics founders will be signing Saturday afternoon.
