FREE COMIC BOOK DAY: The Ground Rules

FREE COMIC BOOK DAY is this Saturday. We’re sure looking forward to it and hope you are, too! Because we want everyone who comes in to be able to get some free reading, we’ve established some new ground rules this year:

1) Limit 2 free comics per person.

2) They cannot be two copies of the same book.

3) And unless you’re a kid, only 1 of them can be a kid’s book.

First 50 people to shout "I AM IRON MAN!!" will also get free Iron Man movie swag.

But the fun doesn’t stop with free comics and swag! We’ll also be having a SIDEWALK SALE of older comics and trades from our warehouse at discounts you won’t believe! Sidewalk trades will be 50% off cover , and sidewalk single issues will be $30.00 (plus the cost of the box) for an entire long box of books or $20.00 (plus the cost of the box) for an entire short box of books. Don’t quite want that many books? Then you can get them at 25 cents apiece or 25 comics for $4.99 .

IN ADDITION, all regular unmarked back issues inside the store will be 50% off , and back issue complete sets are 25% off .

Bust open those piggy banks, because that handful of loose change will get you oodles of comics at Meltdown this Saturday. See you then!
