New issues day got super-sized and super interesting tonight when TRANSFORMERS star Tyrese Gibson dropped in to buy comics and chat up the 9:40 p.m. traffic getting their weekly reads at Meltdown Sunset Bd. location. The hardest working man in Multimedia proudly showed off the latest issue of Diamond Comics Preview catalog (a massive, maze-like, comics trade publication) to everyone that was getting ringed out at the front counter. In the current Previews, MAYHEM! #1 has been awarded the coveted title of “GEM OF THE MONTH” with a two page spread showcasing inside art pages and issue #1 cover art.
The patrons got ignited with Tyrese contagious energy and several of them ended up pre-ordering MAYHEM! #1 on the spot. All these folks got MAYHEM! T-Shirts personalized to them since Co-creators of MAYHEM! Will Wilson and Mike Le had some with them.
