Overview
Now in our fifth season, the Angel City Derby Girls have achieved a major goal in finding a new warehouse to call home. Located in East LA, the warehouse is in a perfect location to raise awareness to women’s health issues and bring fun, all-ages, pro-female sports entertainment to the community. In order for this organization to grow we need help raising money to make the space ready for practice and events.
Deliverables:
- 10 scheduled bouts for 2010
- Create new skater classes for learning roller derby while exercising and socializing
- Start skating exercise programs open to the public
- Start women’s health workshops open to the public
- Maintain our competitive teams to advance in the regional and national level
