Tonight you have a fantastic opportunity to make a decision about fun and its place in your life.

Don’t have enough fun?  I’ve got plenty and I want you to take some off my hands.

Filled with haterade?  Not sure if that is the path you want to remain on?  Come bathe in the fun and see what life brings you!

If fun is not for you, if you wake and exclaim, “NO FUN TODAY!”, well then this is not the show for you.

But everyone else?  We have a Hell of a line up in store for you tonight at Mr. T’s Bowl.  The inimitable jazzcore metahumans RENFIELD take the stage first at 9:00 p.m. to introduce you to their newest member and to ply you with tales of happy zombies, giant robots, and cosmic wizardry.  Immediately following is The Greatest Band in the Universe ™ UBERBAND playing all the hits from LIVE IN POLAND that you’ve been singing for years.  Batting clean up is the remarkable and incandescent FISH CIRCUS, the female-fronted freak fair that dares to drag you to the ocean floor and make you dance with your last breath.  All this and THE BURNING OF ROME for only $5.00!  There’s a marvelous bar at Mr. T’s, so this is a 21 & over show.  If my incessant natterings have ever piqued your interest, this is the show to come by and allow us to mess with your mind for  a little bit.  You can listen to an album and you can watch a video, but nothing fills the heart and smooths the soul like live performance issued by professionals.

Fine.  You won’t listen to reason.  Okay.  I DARE YOU.

There.  Now’s it’s about your manhood, you cowardly drunk.  I DARE YOU.  You can’t handle this show.  Stay home, play games, cry.

We’re over here.  HAVING FUN.

RENFIELD!  UBERBAND!  FISH CIRCUS!  THE BURNING OF ROME!
At Mr. T’s Bowl – Thursday, September 23 – 21 & older – $5

The show is brimming with goodness today as we welcome aboard Daniel Quantz & R.J. Ryan plus Archaia marketing directer Mel Caylo to the show. We talk their newly released Archaia graphic novel SYNDROME with beautiful art by David Marquez, plus we hash out the production process for a book like this, designing the setting and characters, and how long it all takes to bring to fulfillment.

We then jump in full bore with the creators with this week’s reading pile, including BATMAN AND ROBIN #14, INVINCIBLE IRON MAN, SCARLET, George R.R. Martin’s HEDGE KNIGHT series, AVENGERS, as well as THE HEROIC AGE in general, CAPTAIN AMERICA, Felipe Smith’s PEEPO CHOO vol. 2, X-FACTOR #208, JOE THE BARBARIAN #7, & CBGB #3. Even with guests, passions are enflamed as Caleb raves about THE KUROSAGI CORPSE DELIVERY SERVICE, Aaron can’t believe Black Panther is pinch-hitting for Daredevil, and Chris unfavorably compares Spider-Man: One Moment in Time to Life to Archie-The Married Life.

Our Picks of the Week

Aaron-George R.R. Martin’s Hedge Knight series.
Chris- Peepo Choo v2
Caleb- Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Servic
