Channeling their inner nerd and celebrating quirkiness over conformity, Meltdown Comics will host the national book release of Disney Book Group’s new title NERD GIRLS by award winning author Alan Lawrence Sitomer.
A fun for everyone event that will include a musical performance by Randy Kaplan, a trivia contest hosted by the Master of Nerdishness, Josh Greenberg, plus eats, sweets, a nerd fashion show highlighting a new line of nerd apparel and a special message from California’s Teacher of the Year, 2007, as to why nerds already rule the world (in case you haven’t noticed), a fun afternoon to celebrate smarts, individuality and smiles is on tap for all.
Plus, Alan Sitomer will do an exclusive autographing of first hardcover print edition of NERD GIRLS.
My students love Nerd Girls so much, that I am glad I read it before they did, or I would not be able to retrieve our copy. I can’t wait to share this book with every Nerd Girl I know.
