You’ve seen his horror work on True Blood, Ghost Whisperer, The Science of Fear, and numerous other films and television shows. Now, finally, local Los Angeles artist Bill Rude will for the first time unveil his body of personal horror work titled: ’7 Hells’. A professional designer and animator in the film industry for over 15 years, Rude’s specialization in retro and horror themes directly inspired his concept of pop-culture terror.

7 Hells fabricates a horrifying world like a Frankenstein’s Monster: part rockabilly savagery, part abhorrent cinema, part ghastly story telling. 7 Hells is not a tribute to b-movies, pulp-novels, horror magazines, or distressing fairy tales, but to the atmosphere that surrounds and unites them all.

These visions span mediums of paint, ink, plexiglass, costumes and fabricated merchandise that interconnect the body of works with one another and blur the lines between the artwork and reality. Rude’s investigation into what defines horror and it’s nostalgic attraction is as much about the process of creation as the finished pieces themselves.

Please visit the artist’s website at www.7hells.com  for further details in inspiration behind the friendly nightmares that are 7 Hells.

Shocking Scares! Alarming Abominations! Devilish Delinquency! This show is family friendly.
