Free Photos with Krampus, Live & In Person!
Brought to you by the Horrifying Holiday Cards of 7 Hells.

THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS FRIGHTFUL INDEED-KRAMPUS IS COMING TO TOWN!

By Colette Romero

December 4, 2012

HOLLYWOOD, CA – West Coast’s largest comic book store, Meltdown, is collaborating with local horror artist Bill Rude, and hosting a visit with everyone’s favorite Holiday hellion; Krampus.

Throughout parts of Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, Krampus is believed to be the monstrous servant of St. Nicholas. As the Saint leaves gifts for well-behaved children, Krampus doles out punishment for the naughty. To this day, the first week of December, known as Krampuslauf, people of all ages still attend large festivities and parades of elaborate Krampus costumes, merrily encouraging children all across Europe to face their demons.

This Saturday, December 8th at 7pm, Krampus makes his first North American appearance for free picture taking opportunities plus he’s promoting 7 Hells designed Krampus and Christmas Spider greeting cards.

“Krampus scares me, so I’m not sure how much children may enjoy this, but you won’t know until you bring them!”, says 7 Hells founder Bill Rude. In recent years, the figure of Krampus has become more and more visible in U.S. popular culture, having been featured on Adult Swim’s The Venture Bros and the CW’s Supernatural. In addition, in 2009, Krampus visited the The Colbert Report. Over the last decade, Krampus celebrations of all varieties have been enjoyed in most major US cities, such as New York, San Francisco and Portland.

And now it’s L.A. and Sunset Boulevard’s turn to experience this fiendishly fun new holiday tradition.

About Meltdown Comics

  1. I want these cards for Christmas! I love tarantulas and spider … and my tarantula Isabella thinks these are darling. It would be wonderful to print these out, but it would be even better to find them for sale.
