The wildly innovative and edgy illustrated novel series, MERLOT MURDER MYSTERIES, featuring art by LA artist Steve Montiglio celebrates its LA launch with an outrageous ART SHOW, BOOK SIGNING and WINE TASTING event at Meltdown Comics.
This is NOT another Twilight series written for 10 to 12 year olds. This is one part Edgar Allen Poe, a dash of Dita Von Teese, and a sprinkle of Clive Barker enthusiastically stirred in a fermentation vat by Vincent Price. Can You handle it?

Comics on Comics @ 8PM: Comic book legend and original Watchmen editor Len Wein and comedians Steve Marmel (The Fairly Oddparents, Danny Phantom, Yin! Yang! Yo!), Sax Carr (UCB’s Tournament of Nerds, Comics on Comics Radio) and Graham Elwood (ComedyFilmNerds.com, The Sarah Silverman Program) join pop guru Bob Peterson (CC2K) and host Juan-Manuel Rocha to discuss the book’s cultural impact and social significance, the controversial movie adaptation, the End is Nigh video game and more!
