You’ll see some of LA’s best comedians/musicians/performers as they parody all the ridiculous talk shows, commercials, and terrible music on the airwaves. Over 100 artists from across the globe have come together to celebrate the art of music videos, merging an innovative array of talent and vision into this one-of-a-kind tribute to nearly three decades of pop culture. Hosted at the Meltdown Gallery on Sunset Blvd., “I Want My Music Video Art Show” presented visual artists with an opportunity to take their favorite music videos from the 1980′s on, dip them in paint and various mediums, splash them onto canvases, lenses, tablets and computer screens, and create a new genre of art inspired by the idols who continue to groove and inspire uc with musical genius.
