Combining characters, video, sketch comedy, special guests, music, and anything else in between, Destructo is what everyone wants to see! Aimed at all who love the hilarious, experimental, offbeat, clever, and slightly insane Destructo… The Show From Beyond! proves to be one of the most innovative and original comedy shows in Los Angeles. So drop everything you’re doing! Don’t bother picking up the kids! Let your pets starve! Abandon your night shift at Walgreens! Run down the street grabbing random strangers to come see Destructo… The Show From Beyond!

This monthly show will be January 21^st at Meltdown Comics located at 7522 West Sunset Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90046. Doors open at 7:30pm, show at 8pm. Tickets are $6 at the door. Food can be ordered right outside the show from the Mars Hotdog Cart along with free beer and soda for all!!

Trivia Meltdown @ Meltdown Comics, “A CITY WIDE TOURNAMENT, TESTING TRIVIA KNOWLEDGE IN A VARIETY OF GEEK-CENTRIC CATEGORIES”

Come enjoy 10 rounds of exciting geek-centric trivia in multiple disciplines and levels of difficulty. Teams (of five) test their skills in a contest of knowledge on subjects like Music, Television, and of course Comic Books. Plus live music performances and comedy and much more. Think you have what it takes? Tickets are $12 for individuals (who can form teams at the event). or $50 for a preassembled team of 5. Just want to watch? well its $5. Everyone can enjoy food from some of LA’s gourmet food trucks… and FREE BEER! Plus even more surprises. So take the challenge? You got what it takes?

Drink and Draw Social Club®, vol. 2

by Dave Johnson, Dan Panosian, Jeff Johnson & Brad Vancata Following up on the popularity of the ever-growing phenomenon known as Drink and Draw Social Club, volume 2 contains even more scribblings and scratchings from a large and diverse group of talented artists. Featuring illustrations done strictly in bars and restaurants, the pints and pencil shavings make for good times and great art.

Books and original art will be available from all the Drink & Draw members. COME ONE, COME ALL!

Established in Los Angeles in 2005, the core members of DDSC (Dave Johnson, Dan Panosian, Jeff Johnson, & Brad Vancata) have now multiplied to over 1600 participants, with splinter groups popping up everywhere from LA to New York, and beyond.
A gallery show featuring artwork from the book and other Drink and Draw nights will also be on display and for sale.

Food will be available from The Grilled Cheese Truck.
