The Creative Fete!
A recurring event with which we aim to create a community of artists who come together to share a mutual love, respect and appreciation for art, and most of all a desire to be creative. What better way to do that then to get together and celebrate each one of our unique talents and passions.
The format is not much different than an Open Mic; we all come together and take turns sharing what we are passionate about: Poetry, Song, Acting, Painting, Photography, Performance Art, Dance, Film, You Name It!
The Drill:
Join is at yet another great space! Meltdown Comics. Be sure to stop by early and check it out as it is open during normal business hours. We will be having the Fete in the art gallery toward the back. Doors open at 7:45pm for sign up and drinks, performances start promptly at 8pm. 21 and over only!
Stay afterwards for drinks and mingling! We do rent the space and provide plenty of grub & booze. Any monetary, alcoholic or nutritive contributions that you can afford to donate are very much appreciated.
Let us know if you expect to perform or come as a spectator (Treatbv[at]aol.com), either way you are welcome to attend! (You can always change your mind but advance notice is very helpful). If you require any special equipment, props, etc, let us know so we can do our best to accommodate you.
Parking is available on the street. See you there!
