JOSS WHEDON FINDS HIS CABIN KIDS.

We’ve got the names of the kids who’ll be put through some sort of hell in Whedon’s cabin. Already in the cast were Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford. Now they’ve been joined by Revolutionary Road’s Kristen Connolly and Star Trek’s Chris Hemsworth as well as Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz and Jesse Williams.

Whedon said of the new kids: “Finding this ensemble has been very hard and very rewarding. Each of the ‘kids’ is unique, fascinating and talented, and like true friends, the group is more than the sum of its parts. These are people you care about, able to go toe to toe with the amazing actors we’ve corralled thus far, and not unpretty in the bargain. I can’t wait to harm them.”

The film is already shooting, though the October release date has been pushed back to February 5, 2010.
