Gil: The MUTANT SEASON

So my middle son Gil has a Nerdist Industries podcast and his own twitter account. He learned about entertaining and putting on shows from Mo Fathelbab and the NerdMelt crew over the Summer break in 2011. He wasn’t sent to camp or participated in other seasonal activities because hanging at Meltdown Comics and the NerdMelt Theater was all he wanted to do. Katie Levine, who produces podcasts for Chris Hardwick, spotted Gil when he was on Mo and DC Pierson’s Nerdy Secrets show. She gave him a test run and it went beyond everyone’s expectations. Now, more than 10 episodes in, “The Mutant Season with Gil” is picking up steam and picking up followers.

Please take the time to check out some of my son’s past shows. Hope you find them to your liking. If you do, please “Like”, follow and/or comment on iTunes: https://bitly.com/itunesTheMutantSeason

SPARKS= L.A.M.F. NEW WAVE LEGENDS!

“….And my name is Mickey Mouse
To the right is Minnie Mouse
And we own a little place in Disneyland, California

Let’s have a party and be happy
Can we invite our closest friends
We can ask Donald Duck, Pluto, and all the gang…”

The latest executive produced film by Meltdown Comics Lifers Guillermo del Toro (El Mero, Mero.), and Don Murphy (ANGRY FILM) gets the heavy Sci-Fi lineage poster treatment. Following in that heritage is the second SPLICE poster found around the webbers. We all at Meltdown can not wait to see this film. The idea is fresh and the creature, with the clean design is poised to become a Monster Fan Favorite. Plus the Writer/Director Vincenzo Natali is a good guy to boot.

Best wishes to all the parties involved!

SPLICE hits theaters June 4, 2010.

Meet DREN, SPLICE “It Girl”

Image of the precocious little creature from SPLICE found at AICN. Maybe we should make a Statue or Toy of it… A figure would display great next to the Mechano Baby Head from Toy Story, Talking Tina, Pumpkin Head, the Cenobites or Mars Attack Spy Girl!
