DISCLAIMER: Due to an unfortunate technical issue with our microphones, this episode does not have our normal quality of sound. But it does have a ton of great and interesting discussion which makes it worth sharing anyway. So pardon our dust and enjoy!

Sam Humphries returns and this time he brings Archaia marketing director Mel Caylo, newly-minted Archaia editor-in-chief Stephen Christy and a camera crew with him. They give us the 411 on this weekend’s Free Comic Book Day FRAGGLE ROCK signing starring Sam, artist Jeremy Love and Red Fraggle herself, then we delve into Archaia’s story and marketing philosophies, the role of love in the production of comic books, Archaia’s new Black Label imprint, the impending release of the TUMOR HC and much much more! They also let us know they’re looking to hire a couple LA-based assistants and give us a couple new “phrases that pay,” so polish up those resumes and keep those ears peeled!

2010′s biggest movie to date has arrived! We start things off with Aaron’s take on the Kick-Ass movie, touch on FEVRE DREAM #1, WOLVERINE: INSANE IN THE BRAIN, BATMAN & ROBIN vol. 1, Grant Morrison’s JLA run, then Chris drops a bomb on us!!!! We then delve into SPIDER-MAN: O.M.I.T and look at the repercussions of ONE MORE DAY (not on Spider-Man, but on Marvel’s magic landscape) before returning guest Sam Humphries gives his full C2E2 con report.
