Since December, 2007 ”Comics and Comics” has been entertaining crowds at Meltdown Comics and Collectibles in Hollywood with the nerdiest, geekiest stand-up comedy imaginable. While not the first or the only stand-up show performed in a comic book shop, “Comics and Comics” is unique in that the material presented within the show covers topics of interest to people who would be patronizing such a store to begin with: comic books, movies, videogames, role-playing, action figures, etc. The show was created by stand-up veteran Tom Franck who books comedians who are not only the finest working today, but who have the geek street cred appropriate for the show.
