Lady Robotika is a full-color 32-page comic published by Shadowline and Image Comics. The brainchild of Jane Wiedlin and Bill Morrison, with an art assist from Tone Rodriquez and Jeffrey Moy, Lady Robotika hits comic stores nationwide on July 14. Earthly rock star Jane Wiedlin is abducted by a rock ‘n roll-loving evil alien emperor and implanted with nanobots meant to enslave her.  His plans backfire as our guitar-slinging heroine learns to control the nanites and transforms into the super-powered cyborg galactic liberator Lady Robotika! The Curious Case of the Scottish Swami

It is time to break brains and separate souls!
It is time to weave wonder and leave mouths agape in the wake of impenetrable accents and extraordinary ideas!
It is time for YOU to return to MELTDOWN, because from this vantage point I can see an odd fellow strolling down a golden path towards wisdom and he wants to share what he knows with you.

GRANT MORRISON IS COMING BACK TO MELTDOWN.

The last time the Bald Wonder made with the public chatstorm, international superstars wandered the aisles of El Melto unmolested and unrecognized, women were spontaneously fertilized with clones of Mozart and Einstein, and after the event was complete we found that all the pencil leads in the store had been turned to GOLD.

Tell me, friend: CAN YOU AFFORD TO MISS THE SECOND RIDE ON THE MYSTERY-GO-ROUND?
Answer: YOU CANNOT.

Are you going to allow the microphone to be dominated with the weeping milk-tears of egg-handed fools who will simply rehash old discussions of the Talmud of Mr. Tawky Tawny or shall we look towards a brighter day to come and inquire after new scripts, songs, fashions and fabulations?

If you consider yourself a worthwhile nerd, a good geek, a fascinating fan of freak fiction, then do us a favor and start formulating your questions now so that we can extract as much information from the googleplexity of Grant. Then, once the event is complete, we shall use what we have learned to trace a map of the world that is to come so that our enemies cannot surprise us and we shall remain victorious in our dream world of comical capes and quizzical chimpanzees.

I REPEAT IN STRIDENT VOICE: GRANT MORRISON IS COMING BACK TO MELTDOWN.

Come complete the circle and revel in the impossible. It is the way of our people.
CLIVE BARKER will hold a brief conversation with GRANT MORRISON before the signing.
